01 / 04 The work your gym skips

The reason your back tightens, your shoulders ache, and your lifts stall isn't effort — it's the deep core, upper back, and stabilizers weights can't reach. Where most mat classes are all glutes and legs, KERN tilts toward the core and upper body — the shoulder and scapular control your press, pull, and posture run on. We train that directly, built for men who already train hard.

Strength 01 Add pounds to your lifts

Fix the weak core and hips your program can't reach, and stalled lifts start moving again. Your bench and overhead press are capped by scapular stability — when your shoulder blades can't stay packed under load, you leak force — so we train that directly too.

Endurance 02 Run farther, hurt less

Free up the hips and lower back that seize on long runs, so the miles stop costing you the next day.

Durability 03 Stop losing weeks to injury

Train the small stabilizers that give out first, and the nagging tweaks that cost you weeks of training stop showing up.

This isn't the easy option. It humbles powerlifters — and this time, you won't be the only guy in the room.

I've never done Pilates. Will I keep up?

Everyone in the room is starting from the same place. It's mat-based — no intimidating machines — and every movement scales to you. You won't be behind; you'll be working.

Does this replace my gym training?

No — it's built to slot into your training week. It makes everything else work better: shoulder mobility for a bigger overhead press, t-spine for your bench, open hips for a deeper squat. Come as often as you train, and keep your push-pull-legs and runs exactly as they are.

Who's actually in the room?

People who train. KERN is built and programmed for men — and women are welcome too. Everyone starts from the same place, so you're never the odd one out, just people who want the same thing you do.

What do I bring, and what's the cost?

Just yourself, water, and clothes you can move in. Mats are provided. Your first class is $25, paid up front to hold your spot.
